A poetic allegory set in a fantasy world.
When Voyager takes his morning hike up the mountain of Lybr to bring wood for his people, he finds the Forever Forest burned to the ground and returns to the village of Lybr with the last of the Forever Flame. As true darkness descends on his village for the first time in generations, the Evil Things arrive, stirring up the darkness in the heart of the village and turning father against son, mother against daughter. But a mysterious ship appears docked at the harbor, ready to take Voyager and his crew on one final, desperate bid to discover an ancient power that can bring back the Forever Forest. Can this supposedly mythical power of The Shore save his people from the evil that lurks in the dark of night? Perhaps more importantly, can The Shore save them from the darkness of their own hearts?
